Gujrat is one of the Western State of India. It is known for its business, trade, and its unique drooling vegetarian cuisine.
Gujarati food is something more than Dhokla or Fafda and Khakra.

Gujrat is divided into four parts North Gujarat, Kutch - Kathiyawad, Saurashtra, and Surti Gujrat.
Each region of this state has different flavors related to its regional food.

Most importantly Gujratis are noted for their sweet tongue, and that is why you'll find the use of jaggery and sugar in almost every dish.

A typical authentic Gujrati meal consists of daals, lentils, gourd curry (sabzi), two types of fried or steamed farsan, kachumbar or sambharo, kadhi, rice phulka roti, chaas, papad, chutney achar followed by a sweet dish.
